LITHOLOGY = The Nardouw Subgroup (1200 m) marks a return to the grand scale of quartz sandstone accumulation in the Silurian, and ends with less mature sediments containing Emsian brachiopod faunas
CALIBRATION = 35% up in the Early Silurian.
